Location & trigger

Codex loot is associated with Satanic Zones and tier 2+ key dungeons. Tier 2 entry uses three matching dungeon keys. This is a loot route, separate from making a named Codex by socketing an ordered Orb recipe.

Inputs & operating steps

Dungeon keys can drop from monsters and are consumed by their matching dungeon entry. The random Codex type is not selected by choosing an item from the list. No exact current drop probability is attached to these individual types.

How this source differs

Codex crafting is the targeted ordered-Orb route. Rogue Chaos Tower and Unstable Rift are activities linked to specific Codices, not evidence that every Codex loot attempt produces an event immediately.

Choosing and using rewards

Eternity Codex is a Common Consumable requiring character level 1. Its modifiers include Codex Entries 8–15; Increases Pack Size by 2; Codex Affix 2: 1–2.

Infernal Codex is a Common Consumable requiring character level 1. Its modifiers include Codex Entries 12–20; Increases Pack Size by 3; Codex Affix 2: 1–3; Codex Affix 3: 1–10; Codex Affix 4: 1–7.
