Location & trigger

Commander Albert supplies Fragment of Inoya in Act 1 on Inferno. Fight Commander Albert inside Black Tower in Woodhill Plains (1-4). This is a named fragment encounter, not Gurag’s Act-boss soul route at the end of Act 1.

Entry materials & uses

Keep one Fragment of Inoya for Signet of Existence. That recipe also needs one each of Fragment of Tundra, Fragment of Mos’Arathim, Fragment of Nightmare, Fragment of Kaojin, Fragment of Dawn and Fragment of Time. The resulting Signet is used for Architect of Ruin on Inferno.

Compare encounters

Arch Wizard Antero supplies the Act 2 fragment, while Gurag supplies the Act 1 material used in Key of Terror. Neither substitutes for Fragment of Inoya. Black Tower uses Tower Key, whose dungeon-key route is a global monster drop.

Reward uses & preparation

The remaining Signet fragments come from Arch Wizard Antero in Act 2, Helgrom Chieftain in Act 3, Nugget in Act 4, Rotting Snapper in Act 5, Cult Leader in Act 6 and Reaking Agony in Act 7. Each fragment route specifies Inferno. Commander Albert alone supplies only the Act 1 ingredient, not all seven fragments.

Difficulty & item conditions

Fragment of Inoya has an Inferno condition. All named rewards on this page carry that condition. The item’s required character level is an equipment requirement, not a minimum area level.
